Project Brief

This project was the first overpass in Collier County and the entrance to the city of Naples. The bridge was constructed of steel box girders and a metal stay in place formed deck. A canal had to be relocated with a box culvert and sheet piles to avoid the bridge piers. During construction unsuitable material was encountered and a major demucking operation had to be added to the scope of the work. There was a lot of effort taken to make this bridge stand out as the entrance to the city of Naples. From decorative lighting, a stone finish and beautiful medallions this is a one of a kind bridge
